Sample TV Clips at Hulu.com

Hulu.com was formed in March 2007 and began hosting video and television content in October of the same year. Founded by NBC Universal and News Corp, Hulu’s mission is to bring premium video content to Internet users wherever and whenever they want it. A big part of realizing this mission is that Hulu doesn’t require you to download and install a separate TV player application in order to watch its content.
Hope, all you need is a copy of the latest Adobe Flash Player, which most computers already have installed.
The other great thing about Hulu.com is that you can be assured that all of the content they host is completely legal. So no worries about the suspect legality of some of the content hosted by many of the P2PTV sites hosted outside of the US.
Hulu, has both television content as well as movies. However, most of the TV shows are short “clips” with few full episodes. I was hoping to catch up on the first season of AMC’s “Mad Men”, which I just started watching and fell in love with this season. So it looks like I may just have to eventually rent the DVDs of the first season when they become available.
But for some TV shows, clips are the way to go. Especially for comedy shows like the “Cobert Report”. Just give me highlights of the funny parts and spare me the rest.
Hulu.com also allows user submitted comments and reviews of TV shows and movies. This kind of interactive nature is a nice feature, which fosters more of a community.
If you’re looking for live streaming TV such as sporting events or even complete TV episodes you’ll need to look elsewhere. At least for now. But if you’re just in a browsing mood and want to sample a wide range of television shows that you’ve only heard about, but have yet to see, Hulu.com is a place you’ll definitely want to check out.
